pre and main cats

just took my pre and main cats out, the car runs better but god is it loud. could any one tell me if pre cat car have the same exhausts as the cat cars ?thanks

On Griffs I think the exhausts are bit different on pre-cat cars.............

Mine ate it's cats so rather than replace them the pipes were split open, the chewed up cats spat out, and the pipes welded up again
