Hi all,

In the great PH masses opinion what is considered to be the definitive suspension set up (value for money a factor!)

Value for money wise then surely still with the original Billie's which are better than the majority of the things available on the market anyway !

Can't really comment on the other options, but I was quite impressed with the damping on my Gaz Monotubes. They're basically the model up from the Gaz Gold Pros, taking a shot at the Nitron market.

Whatever you get, make sure the spring rates are well matched to the dampers. I think mine was the first road-going Chimaera/Griffith to receive them and the front wheels spent quite a lot of time airbourne on bumpy B-roads!

I'm sure the original Bilsteins are a great setup, but unless the car has been dry stored for the last 10+ years they are likely to be feeling their age by now. The bushes and drop links are probably worth looking at too.
