Service Schedule Chimaera 4 ltr 1998

Hi All,

Anyone know where I can get to see a recommended service schedule for a 4ltr Chimp ??

Mine needs a 36000 mile / 72 month service (an expensive one anyway) & one dealer tells me that it also needs 150 quids worth of geometry check - and another says it doesn't !! - Can't seem to get a straight story on this one !!

I have tried Blackpool but they had no-one that could/would commit and they have yet to phone me back.

HI....not sure where you are but check out peninsula Exeter, £395 for a 6000 mile service including geometry check, more for a 12,000.

Just had my 4.0 returned...they also operate a pick up/drop off service.

Tower View. Bottom of M1. They can supply courtesy cars if needed. www.t-v-r-service.co.uk

The service schedules are also in the bible - chapter 17 IIRC.

They just charge for the cost of the fuel for the transporter - though in my experience, you will have to wait for their next trip to your corner of the country before you get it back.
