Can anyone recommend a TVR specialist in the North West to service my newly aquired Chimaera 450? Alternatively any good/bad reports on Bauer & Millet or Christopher Neil? One more thing, if I get a flat battery how do I get into the car to charge it up again?

As in "aren't you helping out the light-fingered fraternity" by yakking about this? If someone wants inside my Tiv, I'd rather they used the above route than the stanley-knife-through-rear-window approach.

And if they use the wooden spoon the alarm should go off and they run like mad, hopefully causing no damage.

Please don't post information like this, it can only encourage thieving scrotes.

My point was this. If they want to get in to my car, they'll get in. The only choice is whether to use a stanley knife on the back window or a wooden spoon the other way. The alarm will still go off, either way. So, which would you prefer? It's for exactly this reason that if I've got the top down in summer, and I park the car, I'll leave the top down (unless there's a hail storm on the way, which seems to be a theme for 2001). I know what your point was but potentially giving brainless yobs instructions on breaking into cars without tools is not wise alarm or no alarm. Since when did anyone pay attention to a car alarm going off anyway?

It would take more intelligence to log on here than to work out how to break into a tvr in my opinion. -- Mark
