slow left wiper

hi guys, had the car out a couple of weeks ago and noticed that the left passenger wiper is slower to return than the drivers side, they are not on separate systems are they - its just one motor - so I should look to see if there is any resistance mechanically?

They definitely aren't on separate systems unless yours has some sort of special mod or is non standard. The majority have the wiper motor on the engine bay just under the passenger side window and it is just one long splined rod.

Thus there has to be something slipping somewhere. If you're lucky it will just be the wiper arms need tightening up where they attach. If you're unlucky it will be a wiper wheel box (under the bodywork behind the dash) slipping.
