front indicator lense removal
Discussion
Just received my new clear front indicator lenses and they are not quite what I was expecting!!. Im sure they are the correct parts but Im not too sure now as to how they fit onto the car.
The part I have consists of a clear front lense that is mounted on a metal threaded base which looks like it is supposed to screw onto the bodywork. I thought that the lenses where glued in place??????
Anyone here removed the yellow lenses and replaced them with clear ones. Any advice would be most welcome

Cheers woody, got the info I need on fitting from your link.
I got the indicators from this place following a thread on tvr gossip the other day. They have them in stock and took two days to arrive. Price was around £28 all in.

Part number on the lense is FV817224

Rather misread your post for a second there woody.........Oh, he wants a Tank!!
well clear indicators are exciting but maybe not that much?????
Anyway..Tanks do look like fun, terrible power to weight ratio though
Thanks for the advice Steve. Having picked up a copy of your book yesterday (read it well into the night last night) I must say its excellent and will no doubt come in very useful. Must have taken ages to put together!
Oh yes, can you do one for my renault 19 please. My haynes "book of lies" as its now called is getting rather tiresome.
