No, not another discussion about Alex and Bubbles but I took my clock out today to put the AFR gauge in its place ...

Problem is the AFR gauge is 52mm and the clock is 60mm as far as I can tell ... does anyone know of anywhere that sells spacer / adapter rings for this purpose?

I did find some in the US earlier today but can't find them now to find out if they ship to the UK... frown

Eyup fella! How's ya doing?

Very kind offer but I don't know whether it's possible to turn up wood to those kinds of thicknesses easily? I would like to think that someone would sell some kind of metal or plastic bushing as I'm sure I'm not the only one that needs to do it - there seems to be a lot of people on the Scooby and Evo forums that are wanting the same. biggrin

Give my love to Migs!

I've gone wireless AFR on the IPod Touch for removability.

Oh and I do like a vac gauge too.

I spent too long looking at exactly that model of vacuum gauge when we were trying to get the induction on a Mk1 1300E Escort sorted 20 years ago ...

If you know how to read a vac gauge it will tell you a lot about engine condition.

I can laser cut a ring in whatever thickness stainless (or mild) steel you need.

Just let me know OD and ID.

(P.S. Like the iPod thing, really must learn to get to grips with my iPhone, I've just finished reading the RoverGauge instructions for the 4th time!)

Great mate thanks, Migs sends her love and hugs.

They do look a little complex for wood.

Hope you get it sorted. smile

Hopefully should have a set of those rings coming in from the US when they sort out the final shipping costs. biggrin

Passed your road end a week or so ago and wondered whether you might be around but don't like turning up somewhere unexpected...
