My car has been in at hiltons for the last month to repair the damage caused by my stupidity. I saw the bodywork before they put the bonnet back on and it looks great, I hope the rest does. I will post some pics tomorrow.
Fingers crossed it doesn't rain, sorry I'm boring and can't make this post seem as exciting as I feel

Yes Keith, Stortford has been quiet for a month :-)
here are some pics of my car back to its former glory

there is one area of concern, and viewed from underbonnet you can see not all the areas have been fully painted, and viewed from above you can see the paint lift, they put some lacquer on,should i accept this? i dont want to be unreasoonable

on a more positive account its great to have the car back, it looks and sounds great .

no that wasnt me on the tvrcc stand,
i must admit it does look good polished and in the sun.
thanks to the bodywork expert and the paint expert at the hilton group

Paint lift might give you problems with moisture underneath... More paint might lift or curl up in the future
