powers turbocharger
Discussion
I guess I still have bad memories of turbos being fragile and needing to be allowed to "cool down" for several minutes before turning off the engine - remember turbotimers? - plus the one on my lovely 200SX detonated and took out the entire engine which at the time meant scrapping the car.
They also seem a very good way of getting even more exhaust temperature metal into an engine bay that needs additional heat under the hood in the same way that I "need" a double whopper with cheese and extra mayo.
Supercharging always seems much more appropriate for the kind of power delivery you want from a V8 but mine's pretty much standard so what do I know and hey - like I always say - opinions are like assholes ... everyone has one and only your own doesn't stink.
I still can't decide whether to keep mine as it is or look at trying to extract some additional grunt ...

The packaging of the turbo kit is so neat this alone makes it very tempting.
The price seems another key advantage, and strangely from my research it may also be easier to insure a turbo Chimaera than a supercharged one.
So it's got a lot going for it.
But I s till cant help feeling the supercharger kit is better, it's just a shame we don't have a more competitively priced supercharger kit.

What about this type of supercharger ,there cheaper and this one is fuel injected ..The price seems another key advantage, and strangely from my research it may also be easier to insure a turbo Chimaera than a supercharged one.

If you have an aftermarket ECU you don`t need alot of the bells and whistles which TVP Power supply in there kit ..
