Have I got the right part? Brake Master...
Discussion
Just gone to fit my brake master on to my new servo but there is a difference between the old and new master cylinders:

Have I got the correct one because I can see that it wont make a seal? The ridge on the master cylinder is where the rubber 'o' ring is on the servo. (I did purchase this from a very well known TVR Parts supplier)

The seal is internal and those voids do not affect this
if you remove the cylinder from the servo and look into the opening there should be a rubber seal that the Master Cylinder collar butts up to and this creates the vacuum tight seal
Phew - thanks for your help. I better get on with it...

Not an answer to your question, but where did you get your servo from?
By far the cheapest place to get it from is Hans in Holland Who advertises on PH:http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3943601.htm
So much cheaper than dealers but I did end up waiting a long time to get hold of it. (he actually dropped it off at my door on Wednesday - nice guy!)
