windscreen washer hose at bulkhead

hi guys,

when removing one of my wipers, i managed to snap the litle straight joint that goes between the pipe that comes out the scuttle area that joins up with the wiper arm.

cant seem to get the broken bit out the pipe - does the pipe go throught into the passenger compartment?

Yes it does.

AND it can be the source of spectacular rain leakage into the footwells. DAMHIK.

If I understand correctly this happened on mine (early Chim) . I ended up having to take the top of the dash and cut a hole in the bulkhead to fish around for the remainder of the connector that I managed to push through when trying to create a new join.

This was a few years ago and there are a few topics on it somewhere. if you end up going this route and need hole location I can poste a photo at weekend.
