Wasn't going to post until it was all done but excitement has got the better of me biggrin SC being dropped off this week, installation probably late August/beginning of September. Thinking about further brake upgrades, new clutch, uprating gearbox internals and maybe half shafts smile (plus who knows what else).

A big thankyou to a certain person with faired in headlights thumbup

Oh, and If you read this Linley I'm comin to getcha wink

Excellent work sir!! clap

What's the expected power/torque increase? You may need to consider cooling and perhaps wider tyres too...pah what am I talking about, that would just be dull! rolleyes

Thanks for the good wishes guys smile

David, be very pleased to smile Er, your other points noted also wink
Richard, unknown at the moment, and obviously dependent on what boost we use , but conservatively expecting a bit north of 400 for torques and bhp biggrin
Neal, cheques in the post mate wink seriously though a bet is a bet, just need to meet up smile
Daz, probably will be, but not until the SC is fully sorted....

Cheers,

Chilli

I forgot about the 11 second bet. Poor show Chilli I was expecting to see you down Pod with that monster. To prove us all wrong.

May I ask who you have employed to build this monster for you? Are you going pretty much for the same spec as our friend with faired in headlights (up-rated diff, drive shafts, biggest Rotrex, bigest intercooler etc).

You shouldn't need new half shafts or gearbox unless you plan on being very silly with it! You will want big brakes and nitrons though set up by someone who knows what they're doing. I would also strongly recommend an emerald ECU or similar to avoid a whole host of potential problems.

If you have any questions on installing the kit or general niggles, feel free to drop me a mail! Good choice by the way, a chim with a blower is a completely different beast to the standard car - you'll absolutely love it :-)

Good luck with the build and lets hope its up and running and finally at a strip alongside me soon.
Even with all my spare time rolleyes my latest build is painfully slow. Probably a good thing considering preivious rush jobs frown

Maybe a late Summer get together at Shakey or the pod sometime guys. Chilli can pick a date he can definately make wink
