Mot testers getting fussy (+ rear plate)
Discussion
Picked up car today after getting her serviced and MOTd.
Everything good and no eye watering bill (thanks to all at TVR Ecosse) but the car did fail first time round due to rear number plate, wipers not efficient and tell tale for fog light not showing. No biggies but was no different than last year when it was quite happily passed.
The rear plate was a bit of a pain as at first the only place I could find that did them was craigs plates @£30 and was gong to have to send original V5 and srivers licence, however after a bit of investigating found a wee place in Glasgow that did cheaper and no posting of docs needed :-)
Anyways picked car up, suns out, did 150 miles on way home and alls well with the world :-)

....and they can tell that in daylight can they? I don't think so.
All the test does is check the lights are on and they can do that by opening the boot and seeing the lights shining through the fittings. Job done.
+1 All my tester did was pull the plate back slightly with his finger to make sure the lights were on . All the test does is check the lights are on and they can do that by opening the boot and seeing the lights shining through the fittings. Job done.
