Hello everyone, I do not go often on the forum because I do not speak English and therefore I uitilise translation google, I'm posting today because I want a Chimaera but with a frame numbered starting with E11, because the approval is complicated in France to ride with a TVR, my budget is 7000 euros up and if you possibly spend in Britain I could host a small charge for holiday weeks, I can not do more unfortunately, you Angalais very likely concerant cars, you can roll with four wheels and a steering wheel with no problem ^ _ ^ ...

If you know someone like that to a Chimaera please give my e-mail, thank you all so I would buy the car has a member of this forum or knowledge of a member forum.

thank you

temjin@wanadoo.fr

PS: it may be better if I place an ad in the classifieds?

Otherwise, I'd go to England on a motorcycle, but I do not know anyone, even if you do not know me, if you have a cot in the garage of the same garden I'm interested, I can say in English, hello , thank you, goodbye and I love you ^ _ ^

There is someone that posts on here that has imported a Chimaera to France and lives in Brittany, so not too far away?

Maybe you could start a new thread to try and find him and get a few pointers in French?

Whereabouts in Brittany are you based?

Salut TVR Rooki,

For teh English guys,

I have just told him that I have a French friend that has 2 Chimaeras: a 400 and a 500 and that both are registered in France (bought in England) and that I know of another guy in teh est of France who has a 500 that is registered in France too.

I will e-mail him their details, so maybe they can help him.

I also told him to get in touch if he come over to London.

THis is what we could call the "TVR entente cordiale"

Hello Mathieu,
I think it is better to buy a Chim here in France with the French papers already done, it is very difficult to register now!

Hello Guys and TVR Frenchie, you gotta take a lot of fun behind the wheel of your TVR, thank you for sharing your knowledge through, hoping that it bears the fruit, I'll maybe go for a ride in England if I find meeting dates and not far from the port to here on a week end, we'll see.

If not in accuracy to the Board of BrittanyTVR I'm not looking to buy through a French who only sell it here and will double its price, that's why I'm looking for a TVR in England sold directly by an expert in just price in my budget and then register it with people who share their knowledge and not for business, if I had a little more money I would take a Cerbera.

a Chim has just been sold here in Brittany for around 12000€ ( it is 9500£ actually) perhaps bought for 8000£ ?? but you may consider also the ferry hotel, some maintenance on the car before the French Mot ( controle technique) and after etc etc
For 5500£ ( 7000€) you could find a Chim you are true, but not sure you could register it even with a E11 number!!
You can also see Tvr ads on some website here in France, but not registered in France, why? because they can't!
and Tvr motors website seem to be closed, where do you found a Coc if needed?
not selling mine just to clarify!

I have probably misunderstood.......but I doubt he will get a roadworthy 1998 or newer anything TVR for 7000 Euros - that's about £5500.

Yes but there are also full of TVR registered, not even multiples of each series in France and one that obnt the E11 chassis and the one from 1996 are easier to immattriculer operations after French standards, noise, lighting especially. and I seek only a Chimaera or Cerbera and not looking as I said above to buy a French who rounded his income by selling 30 to 50% more expensive
