Like that interior. Who had it before?

What were the rear lights like? Were they a bit 'Marmite'? Just wondered as the pics seem to avoid showing them...

No idea about the rear lights as not seen the car in person. I'm in Winchester and the car is a 4hr drive away north of Burnley. Was about to call to arrange to see it this weekend. frown

Never would have considered an orange TVR despite orange being my favourite colour and my motorbike being orange. But having now seen it - I need an orange TVR V8!!! biggrin

My friend has just bought this car. Apparently he had taken his Tuscan to T v R for an exhaust and radiator change and spotted this, and bought it on the spot!

He is not on here, but he is a paid up member of tvrcc and this car should be at some of the Lancashire meets soon. He thinks it is stunning in the flesh and that the pictures do not do it justice!

I got the TVR last Saturday.

I am picking her up in the morning from track v road, its a really nice car, very high standard of workmanship. I will post some photos of the rear of the car as the back lights have be upgraded too. Then I am off to J P EXHAUSTS, in Macclesfield, to see about getting the exhausts made for it, weather permitting :-)

That makes me feel slightly better that you saw it on Saturday - days before I saw the ad! biggrin

Would love to see a whole load more photos of the car. More I look at it the more I want an orange Chim. lick

Who did the work? Track V Road?

You're a lucky man Phil - enjoy it. thumbup

I saw this car at Le Mans and just had to pop over for a chat. It's a bit loud for my taste but you have to admire the stunning finish. Had a good chat with the very nice people from Track v Road too.

Enjoy it.

I really liked the look of the car til I saw those. Different but not in a good way. get afterburners - they will look far classier as the rest of the car looks top notch!

I like that, but £13.5k seems like a lot of money for (what appears to be) a mechanically standard 400.

I guess it depends on how you value certain aspects of buying a car.

How do you value a quality full respray (not just a spray over), brand new retrim, brand new hood, brand new customised ali dash, newly refurbed SP12 alloys, fresh rubber, customised front end, customised back end, brand new outriggers, gas strut bonnet? Ok, it might not be to everyone's taste, but you can't argue that there has been a hell of a lot of money recently thrown at this car, and ultimately the price reflected what someone is prepared to pay on how they value the work that has been done.

Phil loves the car, and payed what he considers fair value for it. No doubt others don't like the mods and can't see the value. Each to his own I guess. The world would be a pretty boring place if we all lusted after exactly the same things!!!

Here here! Damn right and well said sir!

Agreeably, the car was expensive for a 400. But, this car is no ordinary 400 and in many ways is fresh out of the box!

Some people would say that £400k for an 80 year old 3 bed semi is a lot to pay but if it's just had an extension, conservatory, new roof, new driveway, new windows, damp proofing, new kitchen, 2x new bathrooms, loft conversion, re plumbed, re wired, re plastered, carpeted and fully decorated with a professionally landscaped garden then actually its probably not so bad. thumbup
