It's TRUE, drove past parking space, stopped put in reverse, hear a crunch, rear number plate fallen off and I managed to reverse over it. Bu66er!. :-D
Any one used fancyplates.co.uk? Ordered yesterday but no email conf and not responding to contact. Hopefully just arrive but I don't have much luck with online orders. Will ring when get chance. I found the bit for tvr back lit option so fingers crossed. Typical suns out and can't use car.

If its any consolation, you can drive over your own rear lights too, I spent 8 months scouring ebay for the correct Chevette rear lights to fit the G33. When I got them, I placed the on the drive ready to fit, rolled the car out of the garage and.........cccrrruuunnnccchhh..........fk

Not many Vauxhall Chevettes around these days to donate lights!

Ahh Vauxhall chevette, first car I can remember. Dad had them as company cars in the early 80's. I was 4 , it was red and dad let me wash it.. Happy days.. Apart from the vinyl seats that gave U 3rd degree burns in the summer !!

My first car also,I used to call it a shovette as I was always having to push it off the road laugh.
It's the only car I had that you could check the rear tyre wear from in the boot, to think of it they were crossply remoulds which didn't grip anyway. It had a fondness for hitting trees and the electrics catching fire. So I changed it for a mini, same colour as Mr Bean's.

We used to use one as a weekend car for fishing. Amazed me how it took so much abuse after being my mums and then one of my brothers. It was a red estate smile

My first car was a powder blue chevette estate ,I liked that car ! The worst car i ever owned was a Morris Ital estate

After a 90 mile trip the passenger door fell off ,window dropped down ,rear bumper fell off ,drivers door would not open .head lights packed up ..

Its a bit like my TVRlaugh
