Stepper motor and spare key

Read through the bible last night and i think i need to give my stepper motor a clean,i have located where it is,what size spanner do i need as i don`t think i have one big enough and what shall i clean it with.

I need a spare key cutting,can i get one anywhere or do i need to go somewhere specific.

I cleaned the gunk off my stepper with white spirit and it worked fine - I removed it using a large adjustable spanner (it was a little more than finger tight and came out easily). The problem was actually the ignition amp though, so it didn't actually help

In terms of the key, many key cutters do not have the appropriate machine so you may need to ask around a bit but it is a standard Vauxhall key so you should find one locally.
I use meths to clean the stepper motor and have a big adjustable spanner to get it off. This is cheap and worth having in the car anyway as can be used for all sorts of things (banging in tent pegs etc).

And be careful not to over-tighten - I did and broke it - £90 down the drain!!
