About to advertise my 1999 4ltr Chimaera for sale as the constant lure of a Tuscan has finally got the better of me. Mixed feelings as the Chim is imaculate throughout and has been a great and reliable car.

Can't help feeling a bit sad - any potential Tuscan will have a hard act to follow.... bow

Keep the Chim - buy a Tuscan - just explain to the wife when she complains at the cost of running two TVRs that it's like keeping a wife AND a mistress and you're sure that she'd rather you did that with cars rather than with her and a real mistress so you're actually doing it for her... hehe

That certainly could be a very justifiable argument if required. However believe it or not my wife would love us to keep the Chim as well as the Tuscan - she loves TVR's and in fact is out in the car tonight meeting her sisters. Facts are though the running costs for a Tuscan are likely to be a fair bit higher than a chim so with a heavy heart the chim will likely need to go. cry

You'll dally with the Tuscan, then come back to the fold.
