My Chimaera has just been rebuilt after a substantial crash and all I need to finish it off is a sports exhaust as the original was wrecked. Does anyone know of a second hand one anywhere? Thanks.

Unfortunately not but it isn't dfficult to do yourself and will probably be cheaper?

The system is 2 tubes which go into the standard box then once inside, the 2 pipes are perforated pipes with wadding stuffed in all around them, then are solid pipes again on exit...

All you have to do with the system off the car is open up the silencer box with an angle grinder, remove the stuffing, cut out the perforated pipes (again with angle grinder), weld in straight through pipes in their place, weld the silencer shut again, bolt it back to the car and 'ta daaa', broom broom!! driving

Thanks, I did indeed see it and have left a couple of phone messages for you on the number on your website. Please do get in touch and let me know how much you would like for the system - I can be reached on chriss@radcliffe-ifa.co.uk or 02390 658768. Thanks smile

Thanks, but my original exhaust isn't exactly in the best condition as you'll see in the photos...

It is currently on the car but can't be fully straightened as it is bent along its whole length in various places! I either need a standard exhaust to sleeve as you suggest or a sports one. Rebuilding the car has been a labour of love rather than a financially sensible idea, and it would be good to treat it to a shiny sports exhaust if I can find one at the right price smile Thanks for the tips on how to sleeve it though smile
