Since i bought the car the passenger side door has been out of alignment .

Wish i had left it because every time i remove the seat ,struggle and re adjust it drops again for some reason .

The inside of the door and sill area is now showing signs of paint damage confused

Anyone experienced this problem ?

My car did the same. Which bit of the hinge are you adjusting? On mine it was just the bottom pivot which was loose inside the door itself.

Mine don't droop, but while both aligh perfectly at the tops, they are slightly 'outside' the bodywork at the bottom (strangely, the door glass does align with the windscreen and roof). Also, within a short time of having the driver side door repainted (result of some acidic/corrosive liquid leaking from a pipework joint above my parking space) a patch where the paint rubbed off reappeared on the inside door jamb at the front edge...

On of those little thing I still have to tend to and I haven't yet had time to check the SH Bible (although I seem to remember it's not that detailed in this particular area, anyway) - any experiences and advice will be gladly taken on board. smile

I have exactly the same problem on my passenger door. You have to close it hard and the paint is being worn away.

Me too. Passenger side. Talking to a bodywork friend thats done it before and he says its a pin that drops out of the top hinge and is inside the top of the footwell. Might have look later this weekend after BNG and report back with photos as after sunday shes going into hiding till next year.
