I have just bought a new hood for my Chim and am having trouble with the fit. It appears to be too narrow across the back edge, but the supplied has suggested my car is at fault and I need to adjust the window alignment.

Can someone measure the distance between the outside edges of the back corners of the side windows and tell me what you find? My car measures 1180mm and the existing hard top matches this exactly.

Regards

Chris

Following the TVR "one in three" rule, mine's the one in three that's being fixed at any point in time, so sorry cannot measure it until later in the week!! mad

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm trying to prove my car isn't that unusual and that the hood needs to be adjusted to fit my car rather than adapting my car to fit the new hood and then finding the existing targa panel won't fit any more.
