I picked it up last Wednesday and after covering a few hundred miles at the weekend I can safely say Im chuffed to bits.

We went away to Bournemouth at the weekend and the traffic was shocking. However, the car behaved itself and was faultless there and back. Took my 9yr old out yesterday for a hoon too so have really got to know the car.

Ive had a few nice cars (968CS, RX8, E39 M5) and while its not scary fast Im finding it quick enough to have some fun in and although I havent had a spirited drive it seems predictable (in the dry anyway). I love the lazy nature of the engine and found it very flexible.

I looked at 6 cars in one week and it was between this and a nice 450 in Red. Sadly the 450 needed a lot doing but this blue one was supplied with new out riggers and starter motor. It also has Aircon which works but cant see me using it much. There will be a few jobs for the spring (new clutch, and the wipers have a life of there own on intermitant) but I knew this when I brought it. Hopefully that will be all smile

Im loving the sound of the car (resisting a sports exhaust for now) and has only done 39K and was one of the better ones condition wise.

Lovely car! Can't quite tell the colour - is it actually black or is it Starmist Chianti?

Mine has aircon and I use it quite a lot. It depends where you take it - sometimes the heat of Europe can get a bit too much after a couple of hours with the roof off, and it's nice to be able to take a break and have the roof on with aircon. Also, on those days in Blighty when it's threatening to rain (or actually raining), the aircon is very good at keeping the atmosphere comfortably dry inside the cabin - people often forget that aircon isn't just about cooling the air, it also dries it.

Congratulations on your purchase - it looks great!

Ah c350 you got back home ok. The interior looks really nice in that colour. My wipers are a bit suspect as well but its part of the fun, well done. Every trip since I got mine last week is an advent!

Looks a great car, I have had mine two months and am wanting to get the exhausts sorted but not sure what way to go yet. Enjoy it, my kids argue about whose turn it is each time it goes out!

Thanks chaps. Yes it's starmist blue.

Brought the car from Warren at Topscats Racing. He doesn't normally sell cars but it was a customers car and was too good to refuse. Hes suggested I get used to it for a few months before I decide on an exhaust. Drove TVRMANs which had an ACT system fitted and it sounded amazing so could be a good route to go.

Got an ACT elbow pipe and K&N filter on the way. Have cleaned up the leather a little but other than that there is not much else to do other than enjoy it (oh and doing the hood with some Renovo)

I thought I recognised it! It was at Topcats back in May when mine went in for it's MOT. Looked like a very nice car indeed
