RESETTING CAT 1 ALARM/IMMOBILISER!

I WAS DOING WORK ON MY CAR YESTERDAY! I STRIPPED THE FULL FRONT OF THE CAR(saxo VTR)! BUMPER, HEADLIGHTS,FAN. I DID A BIT OF HAMMERING THEN PUT EVERYTHING BACK ON!

WHEN I TRIED STARTING MY CAR THE ENGINE HAD DEMOBILISED!!! I CANT RESET IT? DOES ANY1 KNOW HOW 2?????????HELP PLEASE!

ITS A META SYSTEM CAT 1 ALARM AND IMMOBILISER! THINK THE MODEL NO IS ....SC1 T2????
NEW TO ALL THIS REALLY NEED HELP!!!!

My car has a Meta cat one system fitted ,i take it you disconected the power to the system .If you have disconected it you have to go through a reset procedure with in a minute or so of reconecting the power ,from memory you need to disconect the battery wait a minute then reconect it you then need to press the remote button within a minute ,two or three times i cannot give much detail as i only worked this out after disconecting my battery but i have reset it several times now with no problems good luck Steve.

steve i have to say thank you very much!!!!! ur excellent advice worked a treat! i managed to reset the alarm/immobiliser!

just to let u know uve made my day!
2days ago i crashed my pride and joy spinnig it on a country road! and hitting a grass embankment!
ive worked 4 about 18hours straight on it yesterday and today! and that alarm was tearing me to peices! but with ur help ive sorted it! now its just time to get back to working on the rest of the car!
