I'll need one for the MOT, but £120? I tried the place I bought the last one (for only £35), but they can't get them any more. I've bought some Lupo lights, but the work involved is beyond my free time at the moment.

Has anyone had the bowls re-chromed and if so what was the cost?

Any other alternatives?

Thanks Russ, thats a little better.

Before I buy new, anyone tried any of these new chrome sprays or nickel plating?

So, watching this with some interest as (and I guess this will be pertinent to us all sooner or later) my reflectors are getting dimmer and I need to sort out what I'm going to do in this situation, probably sooner rather than later, so ......

Whats in the secret email?
Is it worth trying to resurrect the reflectors or just replace with the Lupo conversion?

Yes, I often think it's a shame when people reply by private message; it's not really in the spirit of a forum. Unless the reply contains personal information that the sender doesn't wish to share, surely it's more in keeping with the purpose of a forum to share your solution with the community?

Not a cheap option but my reflectors were knackered and having had a good look at a lot of lupo conversions decided I didnt like the fit and finish. So I ended up having the Mk3 faired in headlights fitted by sportmotive.

Have to say they look the dogs and IMHO brings the chim up to date and (in the words of my 14 year old son) makes it look more menacing. Which I think is a good thing....

Are the Mk3 Chim lights HID or normal Halogens?
