The v10 is much quicker than the R8 V8... not sure if a 400 could keep up with it but 500s should have it wink

I had one behind me when they first came out going from Track V Road to Harrogate over the tops... and although not easy.. I did get away from it... (thats when I had the old Billies on wink ) But did think at the time he may be running it in or may be new to the car.. I would have thought they would be all over Griff / Chim, even 500's??

We look at our cars through rose tinted spectacles!

In even an average drivers hands, an R8 driven down twisty roads will always be ahead.

You might be able to catch one out for a bit using the great mid range torque of an RV8 but as the speed builds he'll be showing a clean pair of heels.

Handling on a standard griff/chim is decidedly average and unless you have mods giving 350ish bhp, I wouldn't bother, (or I would just for fun!).

OK smartypants.....

R8 V8: 4.2 414bhp.... 265bhp/ton
R8 V10: 5.2 525 bhp.... 323bhp/ton
Chilli's Chim: 5.0 355bhp.... 335bhp/ton

Oh, and I'm offshore and it's 12 days since I've been on the bottle tongue out

Didn't know they made a watered down version, probably 'cause they leave me cold, (and I can't afford one and of course the engineering is excellent!).
