Aquila alarm - occassional beeps 4 times?

Just bought a 99 Chimera 400 - absolutely awesome

Does anyone know what the 4 beeps means? It doesn't happen everytime just very ocassionally? Does mean something is open or not armed?

On my 98 Meta alarm it was because a sensor was triggered... In my case the the boot switch full of water and shorting out. A trip down the VW garage for a Passat boot switch and seal fixed that.

To prove the point I just pulled the wires off the switch so removing it from the system and the four beebs went away. Just meant someone could get into my boot without setting the alarm off.
