One for the engine builders- One of the Ginetta G33 owners is building himself a more powerful motor and is using the ARP stud kit for the heads, but he needs advice on the torque setting for these. He tells me its a 14 stud kit, and even that its the ARP moly lubricant. Any ideas please, not my area of expertise!
Twas reading on the V8 forum (all torque is on there by the way under enginer at the top of the page) about re-cuting the head studs a further 10mm to ensure full depth in the Ali blocks?.. some discussion over them being designed for Cast Iron blocks... may be worth a look.. you don't want to be pulling the threads out
just ask him to check the threaded length against what came out...

I see this also, i reckon its at least worth checking i would hate a block full of inserts, how annoying would that be?
