I'm currently running Toyos, but due for a change. Has anyone got experience of the Falkens or used both and can provide advice?

Toyo T1R`s are becoming obsolete and the replacement`s are not up to scratch i`m told...Falken 452`s were the choice tyre apart from T1R`s but these are also becoming obsolete but i`m told the Falken 453 is coming out and they are going to be good.

453 looks good but stay clear of the cheap 912... had them and they have little grip on dry and are mediocre at best on the wet.

Sticking with standard sizes, I don't think that the R1R comes in the correct size :-(

What size rims are you running ? Falken 452`s do not come in 15" .if you are running larger have you considered Kumho

15" front and 16" rear.

That's why I was looking at Falken ZE912. Were available when I last checked.

Thanks. Will look into it, although I had Kumo Ecsta on my Golf and they were atrocious!

No stock of the rears in that Kumho anyway. I liked the look of the Falken and other people rated it, until I saw OleVix comments - confused again now!

Thought that I'd narrowed it own to two!
