Dear all,

Removed the dash to day to have it re-veneered, did the usual, marked all the cables, made photos, then removed all the wiring, cut through the LEDs on the heater controls, having order new ones off ebay, but my dilemma is,
1. I can not see for the life of me how to remove these little aluminum indication housing with out cutting the retaining clips, if I do that where do I get new ones from and two of them have LEDs glued in?

2. The rubber seals around the instruments where can I get these from?

P.S. Sorry for the bad image - mobile phone.

I know there is a mountain of knowledge, some one must have do this job before.

Kind regards

Phil

You have to desolder the boards from the leds in order to remove/refit them on your dash.
Talking about the push-on starlock washers, I have these as replacement:

In order to remove the old ones I had to use a screwdriver and lift them away.

I don't know where to source the black O-rings though.

Hi E635815, thanks for the note on the de-solder, I thought this might be the case. Will let you know about the starlock washers.
