Just had major work done to my car ,it now drives a treat . The work has been done at Willow Sports cars ,top job done for a reasonable price ..

Remove and re fit the new Nitrons,set ride height and four wheel alignment (remove the two thin shims on the ball joint and fit the original thicker one )now setup more for road use

Change the upper and lower steering uj`s (the others only lasted three years)

Replace all three diff bushes ,top one poly bottom one`s rubber (he did recommend some fabrication with the GKN diff ,(something to do with the way it`s fitted)

strip down rear suspension and fit a full bush set .(every bush engine mount has now been replaced}He did say the one`s from Steve heath are more harsh . Willow use different ones (prowe flex i think)

other odds and sods ..

Glad i have spent the money to get it right .

The only thing which failed is the oil pressure sender from Fleabay did not work !apert from that im over the moon .

Ground problem`s are being sorted very soon then it`s going on the rollers to be tweaked ,he did say it should make around the

355bhp mark ..

So it`s going to be a change of name or a tweak very soon .

Im going to be a bit skint after all this so the carpets and interior clean up will have to wait.

The drivers door needs repainting but i can live with it ..

No the other one`s are going back very soon ..Im not going to say anymore about these shock absorbers but the near side rear has completly failed ..

I had a full geo-set up after my engine re-build. Totally transformed the car! Although my Nitrons are a bit tired now, anyone know how much they cost for a re-furb??

From memory, about £60 a corner last year.
