Broke the 132K barrier this weekend. In fairness, the car has seen a fairly comprehensive mechanical rebuild since reaching these shores @ 106,159 miles... engine + ancillaries, suspension & outriggers. Body and interior still as it came from Blackpool & all the better for it... smile

Is that a bit like the only fools and horses line from trigger " I've had this broom 20 years, it has had 10 new handles and 5 new heads!"

A bit maybe... but it's still a matching numbers car - the engine is the same that the car left the factory with, only it's been rebuilt/enhanced (and still a std valve 4.3)... smile

Heartening to see so many well over 100k - just goes to show the durability of these cars provided they are looked after.

I wonder what % of mainstream mid 90's produced cars are still in existence? 106's, Fiesta's etc.

One in the eye for those who criticise TVR build quality.

Mine has done 141000 miles, every credit to the previous owner for looking after it before I bought it 2 years ago.

Before an edit needed it gets well looked after now as well by myself and the best engineers PW ever employed.

Was only meant tongue in cheek! , glad to hear that so many go on to big mileage , means mine at 46k will hopefully last a while.

Also agree would be interesting to see how many 1998 mondeos are still running with 100k mileage.
