Happy Birthday to me....

Its my Birthday today, so after a short shift at work I decided to take The Chimp out for the rest of the day.

Checklist:

Just me with the hood down, the open road and a beautiful V8 soundtrack, bliss

Happy birthday

Marvellous. You've just convinced me to do a bit of this in the morning.

Agree on the music choice - Don't Stop Me Now is my favourite driving track of all time, even though it makes staying below 100 mph extremely difficult ! Hope you had a good one.

On my birthday in August I was on completion day for a house I was selling, and had 18 hours house clearing to do. But I got up at 2am, took the roof off Niggles and blasted the 45 cross country miles to start clearing. No traffic, country roads.......

+1
You should never let stripping the kitchen come between a man, a nice sunny day and his Chimy.

Hi Daz, I was a regular club member for years, but can't make it lately. Enjoy!

Take it steady as there's a bit of ice here in Shopshire this morning. I know as the ex TVRCC RO has just come off his push bike!

[quattrophenia]

Just heading out myself for the first time in 3 weeks.
There is nothing like the smell of unburnt super unleaded upon cold start to get those synapses firing!

Nice photos, great choice of music, and not any old haribo, bit the ultimate tangtastic! . Been out in mine this morning, sunny south Yorkshire, heater on full V8 growling away, blast out for Sunday lunch, no washing up! Perfect.

Aaargh ,,, does this mean that when they de-frock you from RO they take your TVR off you?

[ybt1982]

Cheers for the comments guys, I loved the way the pictures turned out

That day out really is what TVR ownership is all about, more so than any other marque in my opinion

30 years ago i used to go out for a drive just because it was fun. Since I have had a Chimaera I have rediscovered that fun.
