I got into the car this morning and it appears I had parked it a bit closer than normal on the near-side.. Reversing out I stupidly managed to break the near-side indicator repeater on the in-side of the garage. I was actually pleased about this as listening to the noise it made, it sounded a lot worse!!!

Looking through the normal sites I get bits from, I can only find a pair of clear lens and it would be good to keep the small round orange ones if they are still available?

Clever Trevor has these but I cant find the orange ones.

Thanks in advance

Graham

I had a look today and they are round, not oval. Looking through the classifieds, they all appear to be oval, so not sure what I have on there!

Do either of the ones offered look like this please?

Your's don't look standard to me.
But then again maybe they ran out at the factory that day and borrowed them from another car.

I had the car out today and realised that the wing is sealed.. These appear to plug in from the outside or am I missing a little inspection hole to unclip from the rear before I encourage the broken part out of the wing?

I think I am going to replace with white oval ones as my link and thank for the other offers.

White ovals (with the mirror lamps) are best, but maybe I'm biased.

Got round ones on mine, I think it's the same with all the early cars.
I might be wrong, but I thought if you had white indicators (might not apply to side lights) you had to have orange bulbs, I'm not sure if mirror bulbs count!

Can anyone elaborate as I would like to change mine at some point also. Cheers

Like these, for example

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chrome-Silver-Indicator-...

They look silver, and flash orange. Orange bulbs in white/clear lenses look like fried eggs.

I carried on looking for the original part and thought that I had found the donor car part used by TVR after speaking with the very helpfull people at Surface and Design. They suggested it was from a Vauxhall Cavalier and sure enough TVR did use this part for a while - the dealer thought so and knew the part number off the top of his head!

I bought one and removed the broken one and it turns out to be a Fiat part!! All looks original though. Not sure what part yet though...

anyone know if these will fit easily? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

Any ideas how the wedge plug will fit to the existing wiring? Thanks
