MJ light - car cut out
Discussion
Just broken down. Car just cut out and coasted to a stop. Waiting for breakdown recovery, but MJ light is on. (might actually be M.I?)
Any ideas what has happened or what I will be able to do to fix this tomorrow?
I'm only on the blackberry, so could not do a search.
Any ideas welcome

Fuel cut off is under the dash on passenger side, above your knees if sitting in the seat.
Press to reset.
Cuts fuel off in the event of a crash.
Sorry to be thick. Assume I need to unscrew the pocket first ( no screwdriver on me, but AA man will have)Press to reset.

Thanks again, had a shocking day at work and this was not needed

Easier to see when you drop the pocket.

Hi,there is no. Earth signal to the injectors and no live feed to the fuel pump. Where does the signal come from to the injectors?
Disconnect the ECU wait 5 min then reconnect, If this doesn't sort it , it's the immobiliser
Fault finding manual here:

The MIL light will light if a sensor has failed- but that could just be a side effect of loosing power to say the AFM from the main 12v feed from the ECU.
