There purpose made but a quick measurment could steer you in the right direction to a set of drop links off a production car for around £10..

These fit ..Rose jointed with rubber gaitors. The new ones have only been made up in some one`s garage .Think you need about 110mm centres

This is a rose joint

Standard drop links are just rubber ,they do not last very long .

Lol I imagined it was something that was welded up. Therefore not only would they last longer but I guess they provide less flex?

Useless rose joint fact.

The rose joint got its name from the Roses chocolate factory where it was invented to solve a production engineering issue in the machines that produced their confectionery.

On a more serious note, Daz may have found some cheapy Honda Civic joints that look like they might fit.

But I doubt they will be anything near the quality of the Leven ones which are truly lovely all stainless German made joints designed and created specifically for your TVR, not a completely different vehicle.

Yes the Leven ones are expensive, but they are also extremely good value.

Long lasting and very effective, I would buy another set at a drop of a hat, the thing is they don't need replacing because they last (unlike others).

The handling improvement you'll enjoy after fitting these drop links will be both immediate and extremely obvious on your fist drive.

You could fit Nanking Chinese tyres to your TVR and save a few quid, or you could buy a quality proven brand that may just save your life one day.

It's like that with a lot of car components, personally I like a safe well maintained car that used quality proven components.

So I think I'll stick with my excellent quality Leven links thanks wink

It really isn't worth spoiling the ship for a hapeth of tar.
