Oh my God just come back with my new 5L and it's been bloomin' fantastic.
Hooning round country roads, deafening ourselves, smiles on my and Mrs Jem's faces. God it feel like I'm having an affair, I'm obsessed!
Can I get a new plate, does it need water/oil/a polish, how much can I tweak the car, can we go out driving in it, can I get a table near it in the pub garden - can I give myself an excuse to drive it again; am I afflicted?
Strangers talk to me, neighbours are friendlier, the birds sing louder...
Am I sick?

PS decided on full Austech service, rolling road + rechip/mapping, xenon lights, bit of painting, waxoil and a good check over before any more severe mods.

True story: When i got my first Tiv (S1) I was renting a house and I received a formal complaint from the letting agency saying that they had reports that I had a loud sports car and that I needed to turn the noise down!!!! I chuckled and recommmended they reported me to the police who could check my MOT etc for legality.
Except for that best memory was all the waves and questions as I drove my Chimp thru Paris while getting lost on the way to Le Mans....
