Just returned from holiday and, as usual, the car was flat. No problem.....charged her up and everythings seemed ok but I cant open the car from inside as the twist knob is jammed and wont move. The car opens from the outside OK and the central lockings OK as well!

Any idea's ive tried everything and its still jammed solid.

Cheers in advance

NB....had my exhaust system modded by Offord's just before going away and must say it sounds fantastic....my advice to anyone who's thinking of having it done....do it....you wont regret it.

The central twist knob door opener is a cable operated system not electric as many people might think. This is so you can get out after a crash.

So your problem could either be the cables seized from rust say, or the cables have somehow been snagged or jammed. Does the problem apply equally to both doors?

I assume these door cables are nowhere near the exhaust then - seeing as you've just had that modified?

if you pull away the carpet behind the doors the wires have probably popped out or something. good luck!
