Hi first post on here and yes it's cap in hand
Tvr chimaera 500 until the thing is warm / hot it will conk out when pulling up at lights every thing else running ace
New stepper,new dizzy , new plugs can anybody point there finger at my problem

If it conks out at lights when cold. Give it some revs on throttle until it warms up.

Yes but you look a proper cock at 2k (bright yellow)in the town centre

I'd start by following the correct procedure for setting your base idle & throttle pot.

Is your speedo working correctly?

If not the ECU will not be getting the low speed signal it needs to reinstate fuel and adjust the bleed of air needed to stop the car stalling at junctions.

If the problem persists suspect the problematic TVR speed signal device under the dash.

Try the thermostate. I had similar problem in my 4.x and replacing it solved problem.

Speedo working (may be miles out not checked) but rev counter is a bit on the wavey side

And the problem was









Throttle position sensor a little tweak and the multi meter and the jobs a good one
