I have cracked my passenger door mirror already, are they heated?

How do you remove/replace the mirror glass?

look at the bottom of the mirror between the glass and the surround, there is a small plastic tab, you will need a small screwdriver or something to slide it (to the right i think) and it releases the glass. Be ready to catch it or youll scratch your door.
Dont know if its heated or not, you should be able to tell once its out.
alternative parts can be found here

Yes the mirrors are heated.

Before you start, use a couple of strips of masking tape to hold the glass to the top of the mirror outer shell, this will stop the glass from falling when you flick the release tab.

Use the electric mirror adjuster switch to put the glass into a position that reveals the maximum access gap at the bottom.

Slide a credit card in, using it's corner edge to flick the release tab.

You can then safely remove the glass by peeling off your two strips of masking tape.
