New Rad needed in Bucks.. any ideas?

It'll cost more than £100 to get the rad reconditioned. It's not technical to replace yourself, but it's fiddly if you're not mechanically minded so add 2hr labour minimum.

just been on to V8 Centre, bit expensive.... but very helpful

£210 plus Vat for refurb
£270 plus Vat for new rad

Tower View normally have uprated ones.

They're Range Rover radiators, but with a modified outlet pipe to clear the body/chassis in the Chimaera. A std Range Rover item won't fit. I don't see why you would need an uprated one unless you're planning on racing or becoming a track day monster or driving to Dubai since the std one is fine as long as your cooling system is in order.

When mine went I took it out and had it refurbished myself for £145, which is about 50% more than some people on here have quoted paying - but I used Berkshire Radiators in Reading as they were convenient - but possibly not the cheapest. Took 1 day. The hardest part was getting the hoses off the old rad to get it out.

If you want someone to do it for you you'll have to pay! TVRs don't come cheap you know

I had a bespoke alloy one made by Docking Engineering at Silverstone for my Griff at a cost of £250+vat. More efficient than std and also alot lighter.

just had a rad recore done through TopCats. From memory the rad was £160 + labour
