Can someone explain why the badge on the back is a Chimaera badge, not a Chimaera 500 badge?

I noticed that, but i know they did not use a 500 badge untill a certain year, of which i am not sure
and no pics of engine. But if a good car a 400 will be about that money(even though advertised as 500).

Just checked dvla site and it is a 500, may be a good bargain(chassis depending) and make a good christmas present for someone.

According to DVLA it was first registered on 19 01 1998 and is down as a 4997cc.

Also just remembered how much those badges are on a different thread. About £1,000,000 if memory serves.
Well £150ish so i would have put a standard one on too. lol

My 5.0 doesn't have the 500 badges either - and FWIW - according to factory records, the black car in question here was the 5.0 car built prior to mine- so maybe Jan '98 the works had run out of 500 badges .

I was going to view this but brought my 400 before I could arrange it. Seller was very genuine and from what I remember it was very light damage. It was up for a lot more when I was looking.

My '98 Chimaera 500 also has a Chimaera badge and no Chimaera 500 badge. This was an option, so extra prized.
