Thought they came up really well.

Main chrome reflector recoated, silver inner surround recoated, and lenses cleaned/polished up internally and externally

Stronger strength bulbs fitted as well.

Existing Bezel surrounds replaced with new,so they actually look like they fit now!

Been needing to do this for months now, my passenger-side one is starting to corrode slightly.

If you don't mind me asking - Where did you go / How much was it to have the reflectors re-coated?

Also, how easy was it to remove/re-fit them?

Cheers!

Did you consider fitting the VW Lupo headlights instead?

I love the original look, the Lupo is a bit like 'rabbit in the headlights'shocked look, and the Tuscan look should stay with the Tuscan in my opinon.

It wasnt cheap at £100 a light but you pay for what you want, and the stronger bulbs are amazing.

By the way i got new bezels for £50 delivered, and they fit perfectly(unlike my original ones)

Just wondering which bulbs to fit? Should I fit 100/80's back in or go for the new generation of 65/55's e.g. Osram nightbreaker/ Ring ultima max etc...?

Prestige Electroplating in Mexborough South Yorks. 01709 577004 Not sure if they have a web site.
I did a bit of the work by burning the old coating off, just like burning paint off. You can still see a bit of roughness where there was some corrosion but in general I'm well chuffed. Certainly knocks the socks off the price of a pair of new ones!

I stuck the Osram 60/55 in mine, bought off Flebay for about £11,
Very pleased with the results. Can actually see the river BEFORE I am n it now.
