........tossed a coin at 7.00 this morning.......pouring with rain, so take Mrs Bonkers' Mercedes ML or my Chimaera to B&Q? Needed some drill bits to complete the 9 hour build of the grandchildren's Christmas present.
The dog looked keen to come with me.......(steady!)........so I elected for the ML.
Just got outside the gate and the wipers packed up.
Reversed back, left the dog in the ML and took the TVR.
Started first time, neat power slide out of the drive and off we went to B&Q, smooth and reliable.......splashed through all the puddles, wipers going smartly, heater working well.
Just goes to show, Jeremy Clarkson doesn't know everything.
