Started the jobs
Job 1 sort the mirrors
It looks like no mater how much silicon and swigey jollop the last man tried it will not fix the problem of 2 bolts missing (I think ) the collapsable mount is ok and is tight on the car .
It's where the mirror attaches to the pivot / how?
Has any one got a photo from inside the mirror of the mounting point as it is not shown in the bible
Thanks in advance
Jacko

I imagine the part referred to as the 'toadstool' is broken. Pig of a job to refix but the part you (probably) need is HERE

No the toad is ok
Its where the toad fastens to the pivot and the pivot to the mirror(finding the grub screw on the toad is proving to be a pain in the knock-hole)

There is quite a bit of information on this thread http://tinyurl.com/ah7h5zp as I had the same problem. In the end I had it done professionally as it looked a pig of a job.

If it is this problem then I'm with Tinker, get a pro to do it. I got Colin at TVRSS to have a look. Didn't rape the wallet that bad as he had a few spare mirrors lying around and managed to salvage the parts to fix mine thumbup
