Wheels- how small?
Discussion
15" will fit and there is a lot of tyre choice.
You may need to make some inner arch mods to clear larger diameters.
The 16" Mickey Thompsons that me and Brummmmie can provide all the grip you need and remain street legal which is a good bragging point. They arent cheap tho and aint too keen on corners!

I know there only little rear brakes on the back will 13 or 14inch fit?
Well if its any help Alex I know there only little rear brakes on the back will 13 or 14inch fit?
the early braked Chim i.e pre late 95 then you can get 13" wheels over the 253mm disc rears (rear are larger than the fronts) I know this for a fact as this was the wheel size I run when I had the Sierra rear disc conversion on my 2.8i Capri 13" Pepperpots (but its close) if you have the later rears of 273mm then maybe not
it will however make your car look like a speedboat when it launches of the line and you wont be able to see s

They didnt seem to give craig anymore grip when he put them on the Mazda at shakey..You may need to make some inner arch mods to clear larger diameters.

Im gonna go for proper drag slicks also when mines eventually built
If I break things I will uprate. Everyone in America seems to use proper drag slicks.neal1980 said:

The tyres are more than capable. Any traction loss will be down to suspension set up and lack of weight transfer.Im gonna go for proper drag slicks also when mines eventually built

Alex, you will surely get handling problems with the nose in the air?. If you aren't bothered about stopping, why not fit Ford Fiesta ST brakes and discs, or something like that, off a 13 inch wheel car, all round, and then the car will at least be level. Mine handled fine on 17s all round, just needs bonnet catches or a chin spoiler at 135 mph.....but you won't be going that fast, will you?
