I'm replacing the heater system on my '93 4.0 Chimaera, looking for the most cost effective route and after some research ive discovered the following, can anyone shed some more light, input please?

  1. . The heater valve is from a MK1 Golf.
  1. . The heater matrix rubber pipes have FORD written all over them but I cant find any info online on which model, HOWEVER I see ACT products do a complete silicone water hose kit for £140 ... a bit pricey when im only after replacing 2 hoses, but I suppose replacing all of them isnt a bad idea.
  1. .The steel pipes dont seem to be available for pre serp engines, so I was just going to fabricate some
from copper pipe from the central heating system at home.

  1. . Heater matrix is £100 odd pound which strikes me very expensive. Does anyone know what its originally from?
