The car has been at work inside our warehouse on a trickle charger for a few weeks.

I needed to take it out today and all was well, started with no issues.

However, when I locked the car the alarm went off and does so every time I lock the car. Ive never had any issues with the alarm until now. Its a standard system.

When it was at work and charging it wasnt locked so could this be the cause of the problem. Also, when it went off the last time it made a warning sound before.

Any ideas on how to cure this? (search not working)

Your alarm probably needs resetting. Take the +ive lead off the battery, wait about 10 seconds, then as you reattach the lead press the button on the fob and that should reset the alarm.

Worked for a while. Maybe I didn't reset it properly but it had been going off for a while before I got to it earlier and disconnecting the battery left the battery back up powering it. No matter what I did it would still sound when I connected the battery. Any ideas or is it buggered?
