Hi All,

I'm in the final stages of reassembling the dash having replaced the old cracked one.

Just screwed down the heater dial assembly and it looks like there ought to be a standoff on the screw nearest the screen (either that or the screw is much longer than it needs to be). I can't find one lying around anywhere and unfortunately the pics I took before taking everything apart give no clue.

Does anyone know if there should be a standoff there and if so roughly what length?

Cheers,

Rob.

On mine there are two "standoffs" which had been precisely crafted using some nuts that the screw passes straight through the middle of without coming anywhere close to ever touching the edges.

The one closest the screen consists of two nuts - I (eventually) superglued the two nuts together so I didn't go (more) insane trying to balance two nuts on top of each other and slip them under the bracket. The screwhole on the left hand side had a single nut under it as a spacer.

Cheers
