I thought I read somewhere that the offset is different between front and rear wheels? Will these wheels be any good?
Yes rear 33 front 25 ..You can get away with it eather way .. These are 35 so if you want. 10mm spacers on the front can be fitted ..I have some hubcentric 10mm spacers if anyone is interested .

When you change the wheels, presumably the rolling diameter changes unless you fit lower profile tyres to offset the change? How do you recalibrate the speedo or do people not bother?
If you fit 215/40/17 front and 245/40/17 rear they will be within a few mm`s from standard ..Edited by SILICONEKID350HP on Friday 1st February 18:50

8J will be fine on front and rears with 245/40/15 and 215/40/17 very close to standard setup. Buy them for £300 sell the tyres and you will have a bargain ..
