I'm sat in the midlands and it's a beautiful day. Car takes on a different meaning when it's glowing in the sun. I've had the car a year done 10,000 miles and still all I want to do is drive it, can anyone tell me when this urge will pass and I can pick up on my old life!!! Nah I'm going to dedicate every dam Sunny day to the old girl. It's like an old British motorbike, like part of your being, almost physically connected, it's why your old lady hates them, well mine always did. Lol bring on the spring!

I was just thinking of taking off the dust sheets and waking mine from hibernation for a quick blast. There can't be that much salt on the roads now...although my street still has grit/salt everywhere...

Just think of all those rubber bits that could do with a warm up! Make a trip to the jet wash on the way home, all sorted. You will smile, the crowds too, and your car will love the stretch! I must do 100,000 miles a yr on our roads and I NEVER see a tiv, it's crazy how rare we drive them! For the cost of a set of out riggers every 10 yrs, regular cleaning which i love!!!! Drive them as much as possible, just my thought! There made up from old regular car parts, designed to be working regularly, I'll get over it and start hiding her away one day j suppose, enjoy either way .

The urge not passed for me either, been out this morning, still grinning from flooring it in 3rd under a tunnel, and feeling the back squirm when exiting a round about with a little too much gas ( may have been intentional!). Pops and bangs on lifting off the throttle, fab!

What a machine!

If only I had a Chim over here while I'm in Portugal. The "A" roads west of Lagos are smooth and extremely under-used, although to be fair the "B" roads are not quite so desirable!! The roads that have tolls are virtually traffic free here in the Algarve. It's been hovering around 17 degrees for the last 7 days and the sun is high in the sky. Oh how I wish I had a Chim to play with.

How you married guys disguise your undevided love for your machine and tell your girl she matters more. Must be good actors! Lol. Bust my heart splitting up,,,, not no more. Lol lol lol lol.

Went out for a drive and lunch with Mrs chim666, first pub..parked, put roof on for security - too crowded, left roof on whilst driving to next pub as it was just down the road....passed another Chim going the other way paperbag 2nd and 3rd pubs closed for refurbishment, 4th pub - nice log fire, enjoyed tasty sausages with red cabbage and mash.

I'll wear some old jeans. 3 humps on the lane I assume! Do you know the Toyota building near Epsom, I put all the glass and oanels in it!! In another life! Must be 10/12 yrs ago now, crickey!
